2004 Chevy Suburban
For 2004, Chevrolet offers a Suburban that remains as the first choice for people
who want to haul six or more people and their cargo. The 2004 Suburban is fresh
from having a major update in 2003 with over forty changes that enhance safety
and improve reliability. The Suburban still offers exceptional and spacious interior
room with seats that fold down to accommodate more cargo. Its V8 engine is designed
to deliver powerful torque for towing heavy loads. It is a great vehicle for a
comfortable, long distance travel. Add to that the Suburban's capability to get
dirty and get the job done.
As a carryover from the preceding model year, the 2004 Suburban features a host
of excellent and useful features such as the StabiliTrak electronic stability
program that us made available for improved control on slippery surfaces, new
airbag systems designed to better protect children and adults of various sizes,
and adjustable pedals for the comfort and safety for drivers of smaller stature.
An all-new electrical architecture that offers improved reliability as well as
refined braking was also introduced.
The changes for the 2004 model year were focused mainly on safety. Hydroboost
brakes provide power assist even if the engine stalls or is turned off. A tire
pressure monitor is now standard while stand-alone traction control and 17-inch
all-weather tires are optional. Ride quality is smoother and better than ever.
The Chevy Suburban continues to be a great sports utility vehicle for 2004.
